A set of brushed stainless letters on a stone elevation reads differently at nine in the morning than it does at dusk. That is the point of 3D work. Depth, shadow and a proper return give a name weight that a printed panel never will. We build dimensional letters and logos at our Marlow Bottom workshop and fit them across Beaconsfield, from the offices around Station Road to the shopfronts in the Old Town.
Most of what we do here is fairly quiet work. A law firm wants its name above a doorway in a way that suits the building. A dental practice needs a logo on a rendered wall that will not stain the render. We quote, we measure, we make and we fit, and if there is a problem with our work in the first 12 months, we come back and sort it.
What we make
Everything is fabricated in house, so we can hold the detail. That includes the return depth, the sharpness of a corner weld, the way a brushed grain runs across a letter face and the fixing method behind it. Letters can be illuminated or plain, painted to your brand colours or left in a raw metal finish.

How we work in Beaconsfield
We quote from photos and measurements of the wall, or from a drawing or spec. Once the price is agreed, someone comes out, measures the elevation, checks what is behind the surface and photographs the fixing points. Brick, stone, render, timber and glass all take different fixings, and a set of letters that looks right on a drawing can look wrong at eye level if the sight lines have not been checked first.
Fitting is booked Monday to Friday in working hours as standard. If a shop near Station Road needs it done before opening, or an office in the evening, that can be arranged on request, at extra cost. Non-illuminated work is generally on site within two to three weeks of artwork approval, and illuminated sets take a little longer because of the LED build. We keep artwork on file so a replacement letter still matches years later.

Where the brickwork matters we fix into the mortar joints rather than the face of the brick. Stand-off locators and stainless rods do the load bearing work. If the letters ever come down, the joints are repointed and the brick face is left untouched.
Halo-lit letters are lit from behind, so light spills onto the wall and the letter face stays solid. Face-lit letters glow through an acrylic front. Halo suits stone and brick elevations. Face-lit reads better from a distance and in daylight.
Yes. Give us a Pantone or RAL reference and we spray or powder coat to it. If you only have a printed sample or an old sign, we can match from that instead. Sprayed samples come to you before we commit the full set to the booth.
Not usually. Most first floor work is done from a tower or a powered access platform, which is quicker and cheaper. Work at height is carried out by our IPAF-certified installers, and we carry public liability insurance. If the access is awkward, the platform hire is costed into the quote up front.
Marine grade stainless holds up well outside, though any brushed metal picks up grime near a road. A wipe down two or three times a year keeps it clean. We can also apply a clear protective coat, or use powder coated aluminium for a lower maintenance finish.
