A good share of our Wokingham work is modest in scale. A logo on the wall behind a reception desk. A name above a unit door on Molly Millars Lane. A set of letters on a refurbished shopfront near Denmark Street. None of it is large, and all of it is looked at every day by the people who work there, which is reason enough to make it well.
The letters are cut, built and finished at our Marlow Bottom workshop, and our own installers fit them.
What we make
Interior lettering is where depth does its quietest work. A 10mm acrylic logo on locators throws a shadow that separates it from the wall and makes it read as an object rather than a print. Externally we go deeper and heavier, with fabricated aluminium and properly sealed fixings that will take a winter.

How we work in Wokingham
We quote from your photos and measurements, then visit to check the wall before anything is made, even on a small interior job, because the wall build up decides the fixing. Plasterboard needs different anchors from blockwork, and a heavy metal logo on a stud wall needs a spread of fixings or a hidden backing plate behind it.
Installs are done Monday to Friday during working hours as standard. Early fitting for town centre shops can be arranged on request, at extra cost. Where a reception is in use we keep the working area small, sheet the floor and vacuum up before we leave. Lead times on non-illuminated work are short.

Yes. We use suitable cavity fixings for lighter pieces and, for anything heavy, fix through to the studs or use a hidden backing plate spanning them. The wall construction is checked at survey, so the method is settled before the letters are made.
By using locators of exactly the same length and a levelled full size template for the drilling. On an uneven wall we adjust individual locators at install, so the letter faces line up even where the surface behind them does not.
Acrylic gives exact brand colours and a clean painted edge at a lower cost. Metal gives a finish acrylic cannot copy, particularly in brushed stainless or brass. Plenty of receptions end up mixing the two, with the mark in metal and the wordmark painted.
Often, yes. Non-illuminated interior lettering has the shortest route through the workshop. Once the artwork is approved and the survey is done, a small logo or a short word moves through cutting, finishing and install fairly quickly.
We do not offer a formal warranty, but if there is a problem with our work in the first 12 months, we come back and sort it. We also hold the artwork on file, so any replacement matches.
