Not every sign needs to be built. A lot of the time what is actually wanted is your name on the door, your hours on the glass, a number on a unit or a line of text across a wall. Cut vinyl does all of that for a fraction of the cost of a made up sign, and it goes on in an hour.

What we cut and fit
Vinyl is cut from a solid coloured film, weeded by hand and applied with transfer tape, so there is no background panel and no visible edge. Gold, silver, white, black, matt, gloss, frosted, or a colour matched to your brand. It sits flat on glass, painted timber, metal and most smooth walls.

How we work in Windsor
Parking is the first thing we sort in Windsor, because a lot of the town centre is restricted and loading windows are short. We agree where the van goes before the day, and for the busier streets we come early so the work is finished before the pavements fill up.
Application is straightforward but the preparation matters. Glass and paintwork are cleaned properly, the layout is measured and taped up, and we check the alignment from across the street before it goes down. Wet application on larger pieces means we can shift it a few millimetres before it sets rather than starting again.

Vinyl is right when the surface is flat, the text is the point and the budget is modest. Doors, glass, smooth walls, van panels. It is the wrong choice for a main fascia on a busy street, for anything that needs to be seen from a distance, or where you want depth, shadow and presence.
When the sign is the front of your business. Built up or 3D letters stand proud of the wall, catch light and shadow, and read as a permanent investment. They cost more and take longer, but on a shop fascia or a reception wall the difference between vinyl and built up letters is obvious to anyone looking.
It depends on where it goes. Interior glass and walls are easy on it, an exterior window taking full sun is much harder, and on a van it comes down to how often it is jet washed. If there is a problem with our work in the first 12 months, we come back and sort it. Quality cast film lasts considerably longer than the cheap calendered stuff and costs very little more.
Yes. Gold, silver, brushed and mirrored films are all available and they suit traditional shopfronts and professional offices in Windsor particularly well. A gold leaf effect vinyl gives most of the look of hand gilding at a fraction of the price and goes on in an afternoon.
