Signage built for working buildings
Slough is largely industrial and commercial, and the signage reflects that. Big building name signs on warehouse elevations, totems at estate entrances, unit numbering that has to be legible from a lorry cab, dock and yard markings, and safety signage throughout. It has to survive weather, forklift traffic and years of neglect.
We make all of it at our Marlow Bottom workshop, fifteen minutes away, and install it with our own teams. The same workshop makes the smart reception logo for the office at the front of the same building, which is usually the other half of the order.
What we make
Large format exterior signage is a different discipline to shopfront work. Panel sizes get bigger, fixings get heavier, and wind loading has to be calculated properly. We build in aluminium composite, folded aluminium tray and steel framework, and we print in house for large graphics.

How we work in Slough
Industrial sites mean access equipment. Most elevation signage here needs a platform or a telehandler, and yard traffic has to be managed while we work. We plan that when we visit to measure, agree an exclusion zone with your site manager, and supply the method statement and insurance details on request before the date. Work at height is carried out by IPAF-certified installers.
Timing tends to work around operations rather than trading hours. If a yard is busiest first thing, we start later. If a loading bay cannot be blocked during the week, weekend fitting can be arranged on request, at extra cost. Lead times run to two or three weeks for fabricated work, and we hold specifications so a second unit on the same estate matches the first without a new design round.

Slough is a short run down the A4 from the workshop, so it is one of the towns we visit most. We cover the trading estate, the Bath Road offices and the surrounding villages, and we install nationwide for clients with warehousing and depots in other regions.

Yes. That is routine work for us. We survey the elevation, calculate the fixing method for the cladding type, allow for wind loading, and bring the right access equipment. We carry public liability insurance, work at height is carried out by IPAF-certified installers, and we supply RAMS on request.
We do. Food production areas, chillers, wash down zones and external yards all need materials and adhesives selected for the conditions. Standard vinyl on a chiller wall will lift within months, so we specify accordingly and tell you why.
Yes, and it is more efficient to order them together. Fire, first aid, traffic and hazard signage all come from the same workshop as your building sign, so you get one supplier, one delivery and one installation visit.
Yes. A damaged sign usually needs replacing rather than repairing, and because we hold the specification, the new one matches. Lead times are the same as new work, two or three weeks for fabricated signage and faster for a printed panel.
Regularly. We survey every location, produce a consistent drawing pack, manufacture centrally and install with our own teams travelling out. Central manufacture is the part that keeps a rollout looking like one brand rather than several.
