Windsor frontages are rarely straightforward. Timber fascias, uneven brickwork, narrow pavements and a lot of foot traffic. We take our own templates on site rather than working from drawings, because lettering set out from a plan on a frontage that is not true will look wrong the moment it goes up.
Everything is made at our workshop and fitted by our own team. Shops and restaurants on and around Peascod Street, hotels and hospitality across the town, and offices and trade units out towards the industrial estates. Where a frontage needs consent before a sign goes up, we can supply the drawings for the application.
What comes out of the workshop
Windsor work leans traditional at the front and modern behind it. A hand painted timber fascia and a swinging projecting sign on the street, then a printed wall mural and cut vinyl in the interior. We make both, so the whole scheme comes from one place.

How we work in Windsor
Loading is the practical problem. Pavements are narrow, the streets get busy early, and there is limited room for a tower or platform once the day starts. We plan for that when we measure up and keep the van time short and the working area tight. Early morning fitting is available on request, at extra cost.
Hospitality clients rarely want us on site during service, so restaurant and hotel work gets scheduled around covers, often mid morning, or late evening on request at extra cost. We remove and dispose of old signage and make good the fascia. Afterwards, artwork, paint references and material specs are kept on file, so a replacement or a second site is matched exactly rather than approximated.
Coverage
Windsor is fifteen minutes from the workshop, so it is normal working area for site visits and installs. We cover the town, Eton and the surrounding villages, and we take on nationwide installs for clients with sites beyond the Thames Valley.

Yes. Hand painted timber fascias, signwritten glass, gilded lettering and cast iron style brackets are all within what we do. We match existing paint colours and use fixing methods that suit older timber and brickwork rather than forcing modern hardware into them.
We can supply the drawings and elevations for the application and work with your landlord or agent, and we manufacture once approval comes through. It adds weeks to the programme, so we tell you at quote stage rather than partway through.
Yes, on request, at extra cost, as our standard installs run Monday to Friday in working hours. An early start makes loading easier and there are fewer people on the pavement, and most fascia replacements can be done and cleared away before the first customers arrive.
Yes. A boards, pavement frames, illuminated and non illuminated menu cases and swinging signs all come from the same workshop. We can match them to the fascia so the whole frontage reads as one design rather than a collection of parts.
By specifying for it. Marine grade aluminium, powder coating rather than wet paint where exposure is heavy, sealed LED units, and drainage designed into fabricated trays. A sign on an exposed elevation also benefits from an occasional clean.
