How we work in Bracknell
We quote from photos, measurements or a drawing, then once the price is agreed we visit to check the ground for a totem foundation, looking at where power can be brought out for an illuminated sign, and agreeing a spot that stays visible once the car park is full. Yes. We dig and concrete the foundation, set the post frame, then bring the clad monolith out once the base has cured. It is normally a two visit job. We also arrange a service scan before digging if there are cables or drainage runs nearby.
We produce a scaled drawing and a specification and send it to the managing agent or landlord for sign off first. Most estates have a house style for plot boards and lettering, and we can match existing signage on site so the new work does not look bolted on.
Usually yes. If the board is built with individual slats or removable panels we make a new one to match the existing font, colour and size. If the whole face is one sheet we can overlay it cleanly, or remake the panel if the original is looking tired.
Very little. LED modules draw a fraction of what old fluorescent or neon signage used. A typical set of illuminated letters running from dusk until midnight costs a few pounds a month. Adding a timer alongside the photocell trims it further.
