From shopfront to boardroom
Window work in Uxbridge splits fairly neatly. On the High Street it is about being seen, so printed vinyl, one way vision and promotional panels. In the offices off the A40 it is about privacy, glare and marking the glass properly. We do both, often in the same week.
Film is cut and printed at our Marlow Bottom workshop and applied on site by our own team. Half an hour down the M40 and we are with you, which makes a small job worth doing rather than something we have to batch up.

How we work in Uxbridge
We survey the glass in person. Sizes taken off a drawing are rarely right once beading, seals and stepped panes are taken into account, and a badly sized panel on a shop window is obvious from across the road. Ten minutes with a tape avoids it.
Fitting is Monday to Friday as standard and planned around trading. If a shop or office cannot be disturbed, an early morning, evening or weekend can be arranged on request, at extra cost. We bring our own water, cloths and blades, protect the sill and the floor beneath, and take every offcut away. Glass is left cleaned on both faces.
Coverage
Uxbridge is a straight run for us on the M40, and we work right across the surrounding boroughs from the same visit. Town centre retail, the office parks along the A40 and the industrial units near the canal are all within our normal patch.

With one way vision film, yes. It is perforated, so from inside you see out through the holes and from outside the print reads as a solid image. Solid printed vinyl blocks the view entirely, which suits a promotional panel but not a window you want to look out of.
It depends on the window. Sunlight and cleaning are what wears them, and cut lettering usually outlasts printed vinyl. A laminate over the print helps it survive the window cleaner's squeegee and the occasional scrape. If there is a problem with our work in the first 12 months, we come back and sort it.
Yes, and it is one of the most popular things we fit. A frosted band with your logo or wording reversed out of it, so the glass is marked as required and it carries your branding at the same time. Same price bracket as a plain band.
Work at height is carried out by our IPAF certified installers, and we carry public liability insurance. Depending on access that means ladders, a tower or occasionally a platform. Anything requiring a platform is priced separately because the hire and the traffic management have to be arranged in advance.
Yes. We cut and print from one set of artwork with the sizes surveyed per site, so each window gets a panel made for it while the design stays identical. Rollouts across a group of shops are one of the things we do most often.
