Kensington buildings tend to be older, taller and finished in stone or stucco, so signage has to sit against a surface that was never designed with signage in mind. How we work in Kensington

A flat cut letter is machined from solid sheet, so the depth is the sheet thickness, usually 3mm to 20mm. A built-up letter is fabricated with a separate face and return, giving greater depth and room inside for LEDs. Built-up costs more and reads bigger.
Yes, with care. We drill slowly, use resin fixings rather than expanding plugs and keep the number of penetrations low. On fragile render we use a hidden backing rail, so the letters share a small set of fixings instead of each having its own.
It depends on the location, including sunlight, weather and knocks, so we do not quote a number of years. We put drivers in accessible positions wherever we can. We do not offer a formal warranty, but if there is a problem with our work in the first 12 months, we come back and sort it.
We do. Engraved and etched brass or bronze plaques, and raised lettering on a plate where you want the name to stand proud of the surface. They pair well with a set of door letters, and we finish both to match.
In most cases yes, using a tower or a small powered platform. Work at height is carried out by our IPAF-certified installers, and we carry public liability insurance. Where the height or the pavement genuinely rules that out, we say so and price the correct access into the job.
