Westminster work is usually quiet work. A cast plate beside a door. Brushed stainless lettering behind a reception desk. A wayfinding scheme through a building where every sign has to be legible without being loud. Most of it is seen close up, so the making has to stand inspection at arm's length.
We do the whole job ourselves. Drawings and samples, fabrication at our Marlow Bottom workshop, and installation by our own insured fitters working to whatever access rules the building sets. Our London office at City Road handles meetings by appointment.

Finish counts for more than size in most of these buildings. We work in brass, bronze, stainless, painted aluminium and acrylic, with engraving and etching done in house, and we make sure a fixing method is agreed before anything goes near a wall.

How we work in Westminster
Access planning takes as long as the fitting does. Loading windows are short, security procedures take time, and some buildings restrict when work can happen, in which case out of hours fitting is available on request, at extra cost. We record all of that when we measure up, supply insurance details and method statements on request, and book slots rather than turning up hopeful.
Occupied offices get protected properly. Floors sheeted, dust extracted at the drill, fixings agreed before we start, and everything cleared before we leave. Where a scheme runs across several floors we phase it over consecutive days and tell you which areas are affected when. Specifications stay on file so later additions match the original set.

Yes. We install Monday to Friday as standard, and if the building only allows work out of hours, evening or weekend fitting can be arranged on request, at extra cost. We work to the building's permit process, supply insurance certificates and method statements on request, and book the goods lift and loading bay. Security inductions are factored into the time on site.
We do. Engraving, etching, cutting and finishing all happen at our workshop, which means we control the depth of cut and the infill colour rather than accepting whatever a trade supplier sends back. Samples can be produced before you commit.
Yes, provided it is designed for it. We use systems with replaceable inserts or rail mounted panels where names change often, and we hold your artwork and material specification so additions in two years match what is already on the wall.
We agree them at survey. Options include adhesive fixings, standoffs into existing framework, and freestanding or suspended signage where drilling is not acceptable. On anything unusual we trial the method in a discreet position before doing the full set.
We do not offer maintenance or cleaning contracts, and we do not offer a formal warranty, but if there is a problem with our work in the first 12 months, we come back and sort it. A wipe down now and then keeps most signage clean, and we hold your specification so anything added later matches.
